"Literature is conjugated with criminal anthropology and history, criminal law and sociology"
In Figures delinquents - a short gallery of portraits of criminals of yesteryear, viewed in the light of criminal anthropology - all those disciplines that Bernaldo de Quirós cultivated throughout his fruitful life come together: criminal anthropology and history, criminal law and sociology. The legal observation is followed by the philological one, and the curious note is corroborated by historical scholarship. As in delinquent figures, also in delinquent figures in Don Quixote - a very unique contribution to Cervantine studies - the literary and historical are combined with the criminological.
