This homage to Gabriel García Márquez is a compilation of reading testimonies, critical texts and prose of various inventions about the work of the Colombian Nobel Prize winner. The volume seeks to take stock of the reading of this work, in light of the publication of the author's memoirs. Those memoirs are not only a reading of his novels but also a novelization of his own life. Latin American writers and critics, as well as Spaniards and from various latitudes, add in this book the testimony of the reception of García Márquez's narrative in a celebration of his Latin American sign and creative universality.
